PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underfloor storage, surely engaging a lid with a holding arm. SOLUTION: In this underfloor storage 1, an opening 3 is provided in a floor 2, an upper frame 5 holding a storing part 4 is supported in the opening 3, and the lid body 8 formed by mounting a plate 7 in a lid frame 6 is provided to open and close in the upper frame 5 so that it is substantially flush with the upper surface of the floor 2 in the closed state. A lid holding mechanism 9 holding the lid body 8 is fitted to the lower surface of the upper frame 5, a hinge plate 10 and a holding arm 11 engaged with the lid body 8 are projected upward in the movable state to the lid holding mechanism 9, the hinge plate 10 is engaged with the lid frame 6 at the rear end part of the lid body 8, and the holding arm 11 is engaged with the inside part of the lid frame 6. A lid body 8 engagement part of the holding arm 11 is journaled to an engagement shaft 12 projected inward from the side surface of the lid frame 6 so that the tip of the engagement shaft 12 is projected through an engagement hole 13 provided at the tip of the holding arm 11 over the holding arm 11.
