PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a sheath mounted to a blade portion of a saw or the like having a sharp blade portion that can be used as a package of the blade portion and can be used also for a sheath mounted to the blade portion after the package is removed. SOLUTION: The sheath is structured so as to be held by forming an opening into which the tip side of a handle of a saw or the like can be inserted in the upper portion of the sheath formed of an elastic material, forming a squeezed portion at the edge of the opening or the interior, and by fitting the squeezing portion into a concave formed at the saw handle or base end portion.
