AUTOMATIC SWITCH WITH HEAT RAY SENSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic switch with a heat ray sensor reduced in the number of components. SOLUTION: This automatic switch comprises: the heat ray sensor TP for sensing a heat ray emitted from a human body; a switch SW inserted in a power feed path from a power supply to a load and turned on/off according to the output of the heat ray sensor; and a lens block 3 having a condenser lens 31 for condensing the heat ray from a sensing range on a reception part of the heat ray sensor TP. The lens block 3 is rotatably held in a housing having a window hole for exposing the condenser lens TP so as to change the sensing range. The heat ray sensor TP is fixed in the housing. Since a printed wiring board for mounting the heat ray sensor TP and a member for holding the printed wiring board to the lens block 3 are dispensed with, the number of components can be reduced and a manufacturing cost can be reduced as compared with the case where the heat-ray sensor TP is housed and fixed in the lens block 3.
