<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a system capable of quickly and properly dealing with inquiries from patients about medicine. <P>SOLUTION: The pharmacy support system includes a center server 1 and a pharmacy computer 2 that can communicate with the center server via a communication means N. The center server has a medicine database 3 for storing medicine data such as the ingredient, dosage and administration of each medicine; a medication history database 4 for storing each patient's medication history data; and an input means 6 for inputting the data. The pharmacy computer has the function of sending each patient's prescription data to the center server. The center server has the function of storing in the medication history database the prescription data received from the pharmacy computer and the function of extracting, when patient identification information is inputted from the input means, the medication history data and the medicine data matching the patient identification information from the medication history database and the medicine database, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
