<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to restrain heat generation of a voltage tranformer by thermal coupling of a secondary battery, a protection element, and the voltage tranformer, thereby enhancing energy conversion efficiency of the voltage transformer. <P>SOLUTION: A case 4 is provided with a negative outer terminal 5, a voltage-transformer outer terminal 6, and a positive outer terminal 7. The temperature protection element 2 is provided between a positive electrode of the secondary battery 1 and the positive outer terminal 7. Further, the temperature protection element 2 and the voltage transformer 3 are connected in series between the positive electrode of the secondary battery and the voltage-transformer outer terminal 6.
