PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breakage of the side wall and extended parts when the extended parts receives pressing force upward from the counterpart connector in a connector wherein a cutout part is formed at a front end edge of a top-face wall of a fitting part to which a counterpart connector is fitted and an extended parts extended to the inside is formed in an area corresponding to the cutout part in an upper end edge of a side wall. SOLUTION: Since the extended parts 27 are extended obliquely upward from the side wall 23, when upward pressing force from a female connector F (counterpart connector) acts on the extended parts 27, the female connector F slides on an inclined inner surface of the extended parts 27 for deforming the extended parts 27 and the side wall 23 to open them outside as a whole, and passes between the extended parts 27 to be separated upward.
