PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the reversal by expanding deformation of a bent part with a simple constitution in a boot for a universal joint. SOLUTION: In this boot 60 for the universal joint made out of a flexible material and having a large-diameter mounting part 61 mounted at an one shaft 11 side, a small-diameter mounting part 62 mounted at the other shaft 12 side, and the bent part 63 between the large-diameter mounting part 61 and the small-diameter mounting part 62 and having an approximately U-shaped cross-section, a circular body 64 made out of a material having the rigidity higher than the flexible material is inserted and molded into a small-diameter cylindrical part 63B between a U-shaped turndown point 63A of the bent part 63 and the small-diameter mounting part 62.
