<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an orally disintegrable tablet having persistency of flavor, excellent in masking-retaining effect on medicine odor and not leaving unpleasant lingering scent feeling which is characteristic to a medicine in oral cavity/nasal cavity also after disintegrating the tablet in the oral cavity and then swallowing the tablet. <P>SOLUTION: The orally disintegrable tablet is obtained by formulating a medicine with flavor particles in which an essential oil is carried on gum arabic. In the tablet, an essential oil containing an ester such as litchi oil or an essential oil containing a limonene such as lemon oil is preferably used. The unpleasant lingering scent in the oral cavity/nasal cavity can be suppressed by adding a sugar alcohol as a tablet component together with the flavor particles or adding a sweetening agent having high sweetness such as an organic acid (salt) e.g. citric acid or aspartame. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
