PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give comfort to each user even when a cooling request and a heating request are mixed. SOLUTION: In an outdoor unit 1, an operation mode determining means 102 is provided for determining an operation mode for the outdoor unit 1 while giving a priority to the cooling request out of operating requests from a plurality of indoor units 2a, 2b. In each of the indoor units 2a, 2b, an operation mode setting means 202 is provided for setting an operation mode for each of the indoor units 2a, 2b in accordance with the operation mode determined by the operation mode determining means 102 when the operation mode determined by the operation mode determining means 102 corresponds to an operating request from each of remote controllers 3a, 3b and for setting an operation mode for each of the indoor units 2a, 2b with an electric heater when the operation mode determined by the operation mode determining means 102 is a cooling operation mode and the operating request from each of the remote controllers 3a, 3b is a heating request.
