PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens device capable of preventing the deviation of zoom stroke between individuals. SOLUTION: A zoom tracking curve shows the change of the focusing point of a focus lens at the time of moving the zoom lens over the maximum stroke in a prescribed state where a reference subject is captured from a specified position. When the zoom lens is moved over the zoom stroke shorter than the maximum stroke, the position of the focus lens is adjusted in accordance with the zoom tracking curve. When the zoom stroke is corrected, a CPU performs AF processing in the prescribed state and detects two focusing points Fdw and Fdt, respectively, corresponding to a wide side end position Wd and a telephoto side end position Td. Furthermore, the CPU specifies offsetΔZ corresponding to a differenceΔFd between the detected focusing points Fdw and Fdt and corrects the wide side end position Wd in accordance with the specified offsetΔZ.
