PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device which easily recognizes contents of video data. SOLUTION: A power unit 101 for supplying power to a first memory card 1 is provided in a cradle 1. An interface controller 201 controls the memory card and an interface provided for the memory card 2. The execution of an instruction to read, write or erase data with respect to a flash memory 202 is controlled by the interface controller 201. A decoder 203 decodes video data stored in the flash memory 202 to generate an image. A buffer region 204 temporarily stores the image generated by the decoder 203.
