PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel support frame which is available for a support structure of both a single panel and double panels, exhibits the same appearance in both the case of the single panel and the double panels, is simple in structure, easy to assemble, and stably and rigidly supports the panels of different types. SOLUTION: The panel support frame 1 consists of a pair of right and left side frame bars 2, 2, and upper and lower frame bars 3, 4 connecting upper and lower edges of the side frame bars together, and functions to support the panel 20 inside the frame bars. Herein each of the side frame bars 2, 2, and the upper and lower frame bars 3, 4 has a recessed groove 7 formed in the center of an inner surface thereof in a manner being directed in a longitudinal direction. Further each of the frame bars has protrusions 5 formed along peripheral edges of front and rear surfaces thereof, in a manner protruding frontward and rearward and being directed in the longitudinal direction.
