PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent feeder having a water passing channel which is easy to feed a detergent to the washing chamber of a washing tub. SOLUTION: This detergent feeder for the dishwasher is arranged on a standing wall of the recessed washing tub which is open upward, and in which the washing chambers are partitioned. The detergent feeder is equipped with: a detergent tank having a storage chamber 215 which stores a detergent, a first communication port 211 which communicates between the storage chamber 215 and the washing chamber, and a second communication port 213 which communicates between the storage chamber 215 and the washing chamber independently from the first communication port 211; a first lid 212 which can open/close the first communication port 211; and a second lid 214 which can open/close the second communication port 213. The detergent feeder is constituted in such a manner that when the detergent is fed from the storage chamber 215 to the washing chamber, the first lid 212 and the second lid 214 are opened, and the water passing channel 7 which connects the first communication port 211, the storage chamber 215 and the second communication port 213 is ensured to the washing chamber, and water is made to flow in the water passing channel 7, and thus, the detergent is guided to the washing chamber.
