<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To limit the quantity of charge power at regenerative braking so as to elongate the life of a secondary battery mounted on a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A battery ECU executes a program which includes a step (S100) of detecting the speed of a car, a step (S110) of detecting the temperature of a battery, a step (S120) of computing the battery SOC, a step(S130) of computing the car speed threshold to start charge limitation control, based on the battery temperature and the battery SOC, and a step (S150) of setting the charge limitation flag to limit the quantity of charge power even if it is before regenerative control when the detected car speed is larger than the computer car speed threshold (YES in S140). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
