PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contamination investigation tube collecting moisture from every position of soil by reducing band portions having no slit to investigate precisely a degree of contamination. SOLUTION: A tube body provided with a plurality of slits 11 extended along a circumferential direction in several points of its periphery, comprises the first slit group 11A with the plurality of slits 11 provided in the same phase over along a longitudinal direction of the tube body, and the second slit group 11B with the plurality of slits 11 provided in the same phase over along the longitudinal direction of the tube body, and provided in a phase different from the first slit group 11A. The first slit group and the second slit group may be provided alternately with a prescribed clearance along the longitudinal direction, and the respective slits of the first slit group and the respective slits of the second slit group may be provided to be adjacent each other over along the longitudinal direction of the tube body.
