1. Technical Result Improvement of process of removing a core from cable sheath. 2. Essence A core comprises a casing 8, into which a flowing medium 22 is introduced under pressure at one end of the cable to reduce friction. At the end 5 of the cable 1 a tension force (F) is exerted on the cable core. To achieve release of the cable core from extent cables as rapidly and economically as possible the flowing medium is specifically introduced into the annular space between the inner side of the cable sheath and the casing 8 of the cable core. 3.
