The roof structure, to cover a railway station platform, is a galvanized steel construction with a variable height and width. Two parallel carriers (3) at a constant gap are round tubes with a diameter of 244.5 mm, which are supported on round vertical pillars (1) with a diameter of 193.7 mm. The carriers are secured to the pillars by head plates (2) with tube inserts welded into the pillars. The carriers support lateral beams (4) with four rows of purlins (5) to hold the roof sheets (6). If a higher roof is required, the structure is rotated so that the lateral beams become the carriers and the carriers become the lateral beams.
