The server apparatus which stores image data received from the user via a network in a memory sets a representation effect used to disclose image data. The server apparatus creates page information for displaying the image data with the representation effect, and notifies a third party of the URL of the page information. The third party can browse the image data with the representation effect on the basis of the URL.
