摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed change control device for a continuously variable transmission to suppress the occurrence of under-shoot due to which an actual value is reduced to a value lower than a fundamental steady target value and the occurrence of over-shoot due to which an actual value is increased to a value higher than the fundamental steady target value without sacrificing variable speed response when a steady target value is changed in a step- form manner during rapid operation of an accelerator. SOLUTION: In this speed change control device for a continuously variable transmission to perform speed change control by calculating a speed change time constant based on a deviation between a steady target value and a transient target value, a means is provided to perform a region division speed change control through which a region extending from an actual value to a steady target value is divided into a first control region at the first half of a speed change and a second control region at the second half of the speed change. A steady target value setting means forms a means to set a first steady target value which is a value approximately further equal to a present value than a fundamental steady target value at the first control region being the first half of the speed change and waits for the decrease or the increase of input rotation and limits rotation and set a second steady target value which constrains an actual value, available when it enters the second control region, to a fundamental steady target value.
