PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polycarbonate resin composition excellent in flame retardancy, mechanical properties and processability by mixing a polycarbonate resin with a carbonate oligomer, a flame retardant and a fibril-forming polytetrafluoroethylene. SOLUTION: This composition is prepared by mixing 100 pts.wt. polycarbonate resin with 1-40 pts.wt. carbonate oligomer and 1-20 pts.wt. flame retardant and 0.01-2 pts.wt. fibril-forming polytetrafluoroethylene and melt-kneading the mixture. It is desirable that the polycarbonate resin and the carbonate oligomer have viscosity-average molecular weights of 12,000-100,000 and 1,000-12,000, respectively. The flame retardant used is desirably a phosphoric acid ester compound or a combination thereof with an organosulfonate and/or a metal oxide. |
