FIELD: pipeline transport. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises determining new value of concentration of admixture thetan from the equation for the coefficient of the hydraulic efficiency psi(theta,Re ) = psi0(theta,Reb)(1 - (2300/Re)0.75)/(1 - (2300/Reb)0.75), where theta is the concentration of admixture, thetan is the new value of the concentration, Re is the Reynolds number, and Reb is the basic (initial) Reynolds number, by determining the Reynolds number (Re) for the changed fluid viscosity keeping the pipeline capacity constant and knowing the coefficient of the hydraulic efficiency for the base Re number and concentration for the constant capacity of the pipeline. The new flow rate of the anti-turbulent admixture is judged by the value of thetan. ^ EFFECT: enhance efficiency. ^ 1 dwg |
