FIELD: rolled stock production, namely setting mutual angular position of rolls in rolling stands of mills for hot pilger rolling of tubes. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes spindle having jointly mounted coupling for joining with shaft of pinion stand, adjustment clutch for joining spindle with working roll and having toothed sleeve with annular turning of critical cross section. Said toothed sleeve is mounted on shaft of spindle. For reducing cost of restoration of damaged spindle drive, toothed sleeve has in one end internal toothed portion for joining with journal of roll and it has in other end outer toothed portion for joining with internal toothed portion of holder provided with cylindrical turning for joining with spindle shaft. ^ EFFECT: lowered idling time periods, reduced labor consumption for restoring damaged spindle joints of rolling rolls of rolling stands. ^ 2 dwg |
