[MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A wireless communication terminal, which connects by wireless to a plurality of wireless access points connected to a communication network and transmits/receives data to/from the communication network, comprises a storage part for storing connection destination identification information for identifying the respective ones of the plurality of wireless access points; a first detection part for detecting a wireless access point available for wireless communication; an area information acquisition part for acquiring area information if the connection destination identification information that identifies the detected wireless access point is stored in the storage part; a second detection part for detecting a wireless access point that wireless communicates by use of a channel used in the area designated by the area information; and a wireless communication part for connecting to the detected wireless access point to transmit/receive data to/from the communication network.
