PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator and an automatic ice maker, wherein water from a water supply tank is surely supplied to each block of an ice making pan for reliably making a small size of ice, in particular. SOLUTION: The refrigerator with the automatic ice maker comprises a control device for outputting operation signals to a water supply pump 25 to be energized only for a time corresponding to a small size of ice, set by an ice size change-over switch, whereby the water supply pump 25 is operated for a preset time for water in the water supply tank 30 to flow down from a water filling pipe 36 and to be supplied to the ice making pan 17. In this case, the water supplied to one ice making block 41 at the rear end of the ice making pan 17 hardly flows to neighboring ice making blocks 41 via water channels 42, 43, and so after the water is supplied to the ice making pan 17, the control device controls the ice making pan 17 to repetitively rock with positive/reverse rotation at a preset angle range by a drive unit 18.
