PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel pipe pile which is easy to manufacture, low in cost, high in strength, and superior in excavation efficiency. SOLUTION: The steel pipe pile 1 is formed of a cylindrical pile body 2, and an excavating body 3 arranged at a front end of the pile body. The excavating body has an abutting portion 3a abutting on a front end face of the pile body, an excavating blade 3b serially connected to the abutting portion and extending outward from an outer periphery of the pile body, and a blocking portion 3c serially connected to the abutting portion and blocking a front end aperture of the pile body. The excavating blade has notched portions 7 formed therein, which are notched from an outer periphery of the excavating blade, and bent portions 8a, 8b which are bent in an axial direction of the pile body via the notched portions.
