PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning article with which cleaning is performed in a constantly good impregnation state of liquid in the cleaning article to be used impregnated with the liquid. SOLUTION: The cleaning article 1 is used by being mounted to the supporting plate 21 of a holder 20. Regarding the cleaning article 1, a liquid holder 8 impregnated with the liquid is mounted in an attachable and detachable manner in a housing space 7 between a base material sheet 5 to be fitted to the supporting plate 21 and a liquid-permeable surface sheet 6 appearing on a cleaning surface 2a. Since the liquid holder 8 can freely be replaced and can be removed and closed tightly while cleaning is not performed, drying of the liquid is prevented and cleaning is performed in a constantly optimal condition.
