A pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of a solid malignancy chosen from the group consisting of colon tumour, gastric tumour, mammary tumour, ovarian tumour, prostate tumour, and renal tumour, said composition comprising a salt of meta-arsenite (AsO₂^-) and a pharmaceutically acceptable auxiliary. The invention also relates to its use and to a method of treatment.
