<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability of a heating cooker for detecting the temperature of a container by communication. <P>SOLUTION: The container 10 is fitted with a temperature detecting element 12 on the container body 11 and has an IC tag 14 on the container handle 13. The heating cooker 20 comprises a communication means 22 for making communication between a heating means 21 and the first IC tag 14, and an operating means 40 and a display means 50, and has a control means 27 which inputs a signal of the communication means 22 and the operating means 40 and outputs a signal to the heating means 21 and the display means 50.
