PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which notifies a user that a call has been terminated, in the case that a telephone terminal cannot be used because of disabled communication or a user cannot respond because the user cannot recognize the call termination due to his or her absence. SOLUTION: When the user cannot respond to an incoming call, the call is transferred to a telephone number of an ISDN line (integrated services digital network) of this system by utilizing a transfer telephone service (a function of transferring an incoming call to another telephone number without responding to the call when terminating the call) of a communication network company. Transfer source telephone number information and call originating telephone number information are sent to the call terminating ISDN line of the system. A mail address of the user of the telephone number from which the call is transferred in accordance with transfer source telephone number information is retrieved from a customer database, and a mail having a call originating telephone number as contents is transmitted to the user of the transfer source telephone number.
