PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil adsorbing and separating apparatus capable of easily adsorbing oil and capable of separating the oil by washing the same with water to reutilize the separated oil, and a new heating system for using the clean exhaust gas generated when cooking is performed by an IH heater or a gas heater. SOLUTION: This heating system using the clean exhaust gas generated when cooking is performed by the IH heater or the gas heater has an exhaust gas passing duct, piping for passing the exhaust gas through the duct, a damper for regulating the flowing direction of the exhaust gas into the duct, an oil adsorbing device for adsorbing the oil component contained in the exhaust gas and a deodorizing device for removing the offensive smell contained in the exhaust gas within the duct. The oil adsorbing device is constituted so as to solidify inorganic matter for adsorbing the oil by mixing the inorganic matter for adsorbing the oil, a hardly soluble compound for solidifying the inorganic matter and water.
