PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoch-making screw fastening forgetfulness preventive device of a screwdriver, capable of wholly surely completing fastening work without forgetting fastening, by surely urging this fact to a worker when there are forgetfulness of fastening and insufficient fastening. SOLUTION: This screw fastening forgetfulness preventive device of the screwdriver has a counter mechanism for counting completion of screw fastening by detecting the torque of a predetermined value or more, and has a work completion notifying mechanism for notifying work completion when counting up to the preset number by the counter mechanism. In the screw fastening forgetfulness preventive device of the screwdriver, the counter mechanism is provided with a defective count preventive mechanism without performing a count since its screw fastening is regarded as defective when detecting the torque of the predetermined value or more generated in the screwdriver before a predetermined time passes from a start of screw fastening work, and a fastening minimum required time setting mechanism for variably setting the fastening minimum required time being predetermined time of this defective count preventive mechanism in advance in response to the length of a fastening screw.
