CRANKSHAFT, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD, AND COMPRESSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a difficulty level of crankshaft machining by omitting boring work in machining after casting and to greatly enhance productivity. SOLUTION: By casting and joining a hollow pipe material 2 into a crankshaft body 1, the boring work in machining after casting is omitted to greatly enhance productivity of a crankshaft. By using a hollow pipe material whose melting temperature is higher than that of the body, a higher precision shaft is manufactured. By using a hollow pipe material whose rigidity is higher than that of the body, rigidity of the crankshaft is enhanced without impairing workability. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
