<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering a substrate from a recording material, in which a coat is formed on the substrate by using a natural polymer-based or synthetic polymer-based binder, in a state reusable as a raw material for the recording material. <P>SOLUTION: The method for recovering the polyester-based resin substrate comprises the steps of treating a recording material having at least one layer coat on the polyester-based substrate with an alkaline treating liquid, peeling off the coat from the substrate, and recovering the substrate, where the recording material is finely cut into a chip state by using a cutting apparatus equipped with a first chopper arranged at 10-80°against the recording material on a conveyer line and a second chopper arranged at 10-160°against the first chopper. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
