PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging box which can be integrally formed, is easy to dispose of (recycle) and package, and can prevent a packaged item from swinging and getting damaged, and a blank for use of the packaging box. SOLUTION: The packaging box has an outer box and a pair of upper and lower supporting means located inside the outer box for supporting the packaged item. The packaging box has the following supporting means. The blank is integrally formed for easily setting up the packaging box. The supporting means includes a lower support consisting of a horizontal surface and vertical plates approximately vertically standing from respective sides of the horizontal surface and integrally formed with a side face of the outer box via one of the vertical plates, and an upper support consisting of a horizontal support plate having an aperture with an elastic sheet stretched over and vertical support plates approximately vertically standing from respective sides of the horizontal support plate and integrally formed with a side face of the outer box via one of the vertical support plates. The position of the horizontal surface is specified to be higher than the horizontal support plate for holding the item between the horizontal surface and the elastic sheet.
