PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner which is compatible even with a conventional small-diameter polymerized toner, ensures stabilized charge amount, development amount and transferability, and always achieves high resolution. SOLUTION: In the electrostatic charge image developing toner which includes toner particles containing a resin and a colorant, a primary particle diameter of the toner particles is 25-1,450 nm, a true density is 2.5-4.8 g/cm<SP>3</SP>, and at least an amorphous silica region and a metal oxide region are present in each surface of external additive particles.
