<p>A wooden saddle roof has horizontal ridge beams linked to the roof eaves, by wooden spars resting on a base frame. The union between the ridge beam and spar is strengthened by an essentially L-shaped sheet steel flange (2) with a corner gusset (4) and two-side shanks (8, 10) .The gusset has a hole for a screw-fit flange extension for a torsion rod. One side shank (10) has an L-shaped cross section (10, 12).</p> |
