PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup signal correction circuit capable of deleting streaking in the shape of stripes in the horizontal direction which is generated when strong spot light is irradiated even in an image pickup area having no light shielding area. SOLUTION: A light shielding area is provided in the horizontal direction only to both left and right ends or an image pickup area A1 of one end of image pickup areas A1 to A4 divided into a plurality in the horizontal direction so that a pickup image at a center part is not lacked, a signal level obtained from the light shielding part is detected, correction signals corresponding to each image pickup area are generated and correction is performed to the signals of each image pickup area using the correction signals.
