<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cause a POD system capable of providing outputs from a plurality of printers to output images from the printer in the best condition by allowing a server to obtain information on the current gradient characteristic of each printer so that the images to be outputted are outputted in optimal colors. <P>SOLUTION: The server of the print service system includes a job receiving part for receiving jobs from a client PC; a job managing part for managing the jobs; a job distributing part for distributing a job to the printer selected; a printer information receiving part for receiving printer information distributed from the printers; a printer information managing part for managing the printer information; and a comparing part for comparing pieces of information about the plurality of printers interconnected.
