PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damping device for an exhaust gas tube and an exhaust gas device wherein an exhaust gas system in which design limitation is small and of which the constitution is simple is obtained. SOLUTION: The damping device 16 for the exhaust gas tube installed at the exhaust gas device is provided with a main body 31 and an exhaust gas passage formed in the main body 31. At both ends of the exhaust gas passage 32, the exhaust gas tube 21 on the front stage side and the exhaust gas tube 22 on the back stage side are connected. Furthermore, at the intermediate part of the exhaust gas passage 32, a space 33 for a trap is formed. In the space 33 for the trap, numerous adsorbents 34 are arranged. Because the space 33 for the trap is installed in the damping device 32 for the exhaust gas tube and the adsorbents 34 are arranged in the space 33 for the trap like this, it becomes unnecessary to install an oil trap in the exhaust gas device as a single unit separately, and the constitution of the exhaust gas system becomes simpler, and the design limitation becomes small.
