LOW RESIDUAL SEDIMENT LIQUID FILTER ARRANGEMENT, AND METHODS

A liquid filter arrangement is provided. The liquid filter arrangement includes a filter housing and a serviceable filter cartridge. The filter housing is provided with a low sediment flow configuration. The filter cartridge is provided with a contaminant retention arrangement, for containing sediment in the filter cartridge, during servicing. A flow inlet direction arrangement is provided, to direct liquid flow into the filter housing in a low sediment flow pattern. As a result, an arrangement is provided which will have relatively low residual sediment in the housing, during a servicing operation.
