<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress temperature raising at a rice cooker main body or a substance existing outside of a rice cooker main body by suppressing power supply to a rice cooker so as to lower a leakage magnetic field level to the vicinity of the rice cooker when it is judged that a loop wire is disconnected in the rice cooker for induction heating by a heating coil. <P>SOLUTION: A pot 2 is housed in the rice cooker body in an attachable and detachable manner, and heated by a pot heating part 4. A container 6 for generating steam is provided in the rice cooker body, and is heated by induction by the heating coil 7. The power supply of a power supply means 16 for supplying power to the heating coil 7 is controlled by a control means 15. Outside of the heating coil 7, at least one conductive loop wire 10 is arranged, and a disconnection part 18 detects the disconnection of the loop wire 10.
