PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiplexing system which is low in introduction cost and management cost and stably operable. SOLUTION: The multiplexing system is provided with a 1st server device which performs necessary processing and a 2nd server device which performs the necessary processing instead of the 1st server device if the 1st server device stops operation. The 2nd server device is provided with a reset requesting means of sending a reset request to a client device making a request for the necessary processing. The necessary processing, in particular, is authentication processing for authenticating a user which can be connected to a necessary processing server device and in response to the reset request, the 2nd server device causes the client device to send intrinsic information preset in the client device.
