<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt driving device capable of suppressing meandering or slip of a belt, assuring a high image quality, in particular when used in an image forming system, and capable of being embodied in a small size. <P>SOLUTION: The belt driving device is equipped with a drive roller 4 abutting to the inside surface of an endless belt 2 and follower rollers 5 and 6, wherein the endless belt 2 is furnished with a meander preventive guide 3 on one side of the inside surface, and each of the rollers is furnished with a meander preventive guide pulley 7 and a belt guide pulley 8 having respective guide grooves 7c and 8c for restricting the movement of the meander preventive guide 3 in the width direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
