<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print management server and a print management program improved in user usability from the viewpoint of an information output time and print quality. <P>SOLUTION: By means of this print management server equipped with the print management program, file information to be printed is taken in according to a print reservation instruction from a user using a file registration instruction device and transferred according to a print instruction from the user using an optional remote printer terminal among a plurality of remote printer terminals to be printed. On the basis of an overall time or a partial time expected for an information output time from a transfer instruction to completion of printing in the terminal or the print quality, a requirement for compression and a compression mode are decided, and the file information is properly compressed to be transferred. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
