PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor a dependence state of a driver on a steering control means and to smoothly perform a lane travel support for a vehicle. SOLUTION: This device supports a vehicle to travel in the traveling lane by a control by a steering control means (electric power steering system EPS). The device detects a steering signal according to steering reaction transmitted to a steering wheel SW via the steering control means. Based on the detection signal, steering holding force when the driver holds the steering wheel SW against steering reaction is estimated. Corrected steering amount when a corrected steering is performed by the steering control means to travel the vehicle in the traveling lane and dependency of the driver on a lane travel support control by the steering control means based on a relation with steering holding force at the time is determined.
