An automotive seat has a frame with a pivoting backrest and four floor anchorage points. Each anchorage point has a detent pawl that rotates to engage with a matching floor fixture. Both the backrest inclination release and the detent pawl are operated by a single lever (35) that moves from a first locking position, to a second backrest release position, to a third detent pawl release position.
