<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform recording always in the optimum recording condition, in a recording medium such as a phase transition type optical disk. <P>SOLUTION: When recording is performed to an overwritable recording medium such as an optical disk, a test signal is supplied to an optical pickup during writing period of a temporary storage memory and recorded in the vicinity of a recording region and intensity of a laser beam of the optical pickup is optimized based on the evaluated result of the reproduced test signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
