<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for retrieving momordicin by extracting it in high purity from Momordica charantia. <P>SOLUTION: The method comprises the following procedure: Momordica charantia is subjected to extraction with ethanol to form a Momordica charantia extract solution, which is then adjusted to be acidic.
