PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide photocatalyst particles using titanium oxide capable of sufficiently obtaining the photocatalytically active effect in a particle surface layer in a state fixed by a binder and capable of being fixed with sufficient adhesion strength by the binder. SOLUTION: Inorganic porous particles, which have titanium oxide fine particles having photocatalytic activity supported thereon, or titanium oxide particles, which have visible light responsive type photocatalytic activity only on the surface layers thereof, characterized in that a particle size is 0.5-10μm in short diameter and 0.5-10μm in long diameter are used as the photocatalyst particles.
