The method involves recognizing the type of a multimedia object integrated in a message by a multimedia client module (12) and by a SMIL editor unit (14). Information related to the object is transmitted from an activation module (16) towards processing operators (18A-18C). Acknowledge message is transmitted from the operator towards the module (12) that transmits the object towards operator to activate processing of the message. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a telecommunication terminal (B) a recording medium comprising a program for executing steps of a method for composition and transmission of message.
